Well, it is to be expected that this time of year is busy, but it still comes as a surprise to me each year! I've been at Blackthorpe Barn Christmas craft markets for the last 2 weekends, and will be there this weekend too - lots of Penny Lindop cards and artwork available. If you live in East Anglia and you have a passion for the beautiful and unusual, this is a wonderful place to visit. You can get your Christmas tree here too, and some really lovely decorations. There have been some great networking opportunities too this month, with Wire meetings and the Enterprising Women's annual conference and hey, guess what, I was a finalist in the Enterprising Women's Awards for 2008, so I'm happy. The conference was excellent and it was so good to catch up with some people I'd not seen for a while. And then there's next year to prepare for. The first trade fair for me is in mid January in Dublin, Showcase Ireland, and I really do need to finalise some new designs and work on some ideas that are still only in my head. Here's a piece by Jerpoint Glass from Kilkenny in Ireland which I enjoy - I shall look forward to see their new work.
